Booking travel yourself is easy. But there is a difference between making a booking and designing a trip. 

Online booking platforms list all of the options available but they cannot give you personalized recommendations. Even star ratings are subjective and review sites are just a rabbit-hole of confusion. 

Leaning on a professional means human guidance on one of your biggest investments this year. Combine that with access, relationships with property managers, dedicated airline phone numbers, and the taste and discretion that come from partnering with a knowledgeable travel professional. You could book it yourself, but why would you want to? 

Many people love to take the first look themselves online, and come to me with a handful of ideas. This is actually a great starting place and can give our conversation some direction. 

The difference between a frustrating planning experience with your advisor vs. the best trip of your life comes down to communication. If you like to be part of every decision, it’s best to say so up front. But do keep in mind that the systems and processes that I have in place are there so I don’t miss any detail. Our goal is to give you the best possible experience. 

A good Travel Advisor will be clear from the start. When you work with me, you will see why I say clarity is a core pillar. 

When you contact me, you will receive my Client Guide along with an Intake form. This is to help you feel prepared for your call with me, pre-answer all of your basic questions, know about my design suites, and what to expect throughout our partnership. The goal: no hidden surprises. This allows us to spend our time together talking about what matters most to you, your past trips, what you like and don’t like.

I utilize a visual digital itinerary software, so you can envision the entire trip before saying yes. I design your trip to maximize your investment, while using our supplier connections and offers where applicable. It doesn’t matter if it’s high commission, low commission or no commission; if it is the best option, that is what I suggest. 

When we get commission from the supplier, it is usually 10-15% of the pre-tax value. Because it’s already baked into the price, you will never pay more because we get commission. 

Although it will feel like you are paying more up front to use my services, the value you will receive will far outweigh the cost.

I charge a design fee for my services based on the level of support you want. This covers the research, design and management of your trip from start to finish.

I am there. One of the most important things a travel advisor provides is support when the unexpected happens: a flight disruption, a medical concern, a property that doesn't deliver what was promised. You will never be alone trying to sort it out. 

I book and manage trips of all lengths. In fact, as a courtesy to my clients, I will book your hotel-only stay complimentary and include perks at no additional cost to you!

Yes. With the right guidance, cruising is one of the best ways to travel with a disability. Many cruise lines follow ADA standards and have staterooms and public spaces that comply. There are some cruise itineraries that are better than others. I will always guide you toward the best options for your specific situation.

One important note: river cruising has significant limitations for wheelchair users due to the way the ships are designed to fit through the narrow waterways and under bridges. 

It's not about price, it's about value. 

Premium and luxury properties deliver a standard of service, attention and care that genuinely changes the quality of your trip. The staff ratio is higher, the attention to detail is greater, and the likelihood of error is significantly lower. I have seen firsthand the difference it makes.

We will never recommend a property that we wouldn't stay at ourselves.

I do not book budget travel, Disney destinations or Cuba. We work exclusively in the premium and luxury space because that is where we can can genuinely deliver that best value.

Yes, you can. Flight only bookings are available for a flat fee of $79 per ticket. 

Unlike hotels and cruises, airlines typically do not provide commission to travel agencies. This fee ensures I can give your booking the time and attention it deserves.

Using your points can be tricky, but it is still very doable when working with a Travel Advisor. The support we can give when redeeming points depends on the type of reward program. With credit card points, there are often options to purchase your vacation with your credit card and then apply the points to the charges afterwards. 

I am always happy to discuss which points you want to use and will give you honest guidance. In fact, I also travel using points too.
