My understanding of accessible travel doesn't come from a textbook. It comes from being a special needs mom.

My daughter was born with Spina Bifida and has been a full-time wheelchair user her entire life. I have navigated this world alongside her, and I know the planning, the uncertainty, the mental checklists and quiet relief when everything works out.

My brain now spots accessibility challenges before they become problems and know how to solve them before you ever encounter them.

Because of my lived experience, becoming a Certified Accessible Travel Advocate (CATA) was a natural choice. And it is the foundation of what I do.
